They’re In!
Dear Friends,
At Mission Scholars, the spring season is an opportunity to reflect on the power of possibility—how a single seed or idea, with the right care and conditions, can flourish into something extraordinary.
The Mission Scholars seniors embody this potential, as we’re thrilled to announce that every Mission Scholar senior in the Class of 2025 has committed to a four-year university where they will begin their journeys as first-generation college students this fall!
Mission Scholars seniors cheer each other on as they create their “Decision Cake” featuring the logos of their future colleges.
While the college acceptance letter is what is celebrated publicly, we know the true stories are found in the behind-the-scenes journeys – late-night study sessions, countless essay rewrites, resilience through setbacks, numerous scholarship applications, and an unwavering belief that their college dreams are possible.
At Mission Scholars, we are honored to walk alongside our students through every step of this transformative season.
Seniors and staff reached new heights during the Mission Scholars Senior Hike, where they reflected on their achievements and set intentions for new beginnings from the top of Inspiration Point.
Students and families submit their college enrollment decisions together at the Mission Scholars office.
Mission Scholars Springs Forward!
The Mission Scholars Spring TGIF (These Grads Inspire Futures) event brought together community members, new and long-time supporters, college students, and alumni to share their inspiring experiences and highlight the power of higher education.
The evening was filled with energy as community members proudly repped their favorite colleges, shared meaningful conversations, and celebrated the excitement surrounding our seniors preparing to launch into college.
The connections our students made were a powerful reminder that every handshake and exchange can open doors—and transform lives.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Mission Scholars Event Committee, whose thoughtful planning and hard work made this unforgettable evening possible!
